First it's sac religious to fight with Stokes. He is "the man." And besides you can't win. I've tried and got my ass kicked royally. So I think an apology would be in order. As for The Crusades and The Inquisition. Thanks a lot Catholic Church. I'm sure all of that tyranny done in the name of god was justified.
One thing I didn't notice before about Petty is wow that release is FAST. The thing that made me realize it was during one of his cut ups in a slow motion playback his release looked just as fast as Geno's at full speed. For Petty to have a release that fast and still have such speed behind the throw, the Jets have a lot to work with here. Not to mention high character and great footwork. He'll be a project but he will be worth it I think.
First the Catholic Church and saying the Inquisition was misunderstood and ok isn't petty. All of the other stuff is. If you're going to attack someone at least learn how to spell.
You are right, I shouldn't do that. It's something I have to work on. BTW, if anyone is interested, I started a thread in the "BS forum" to continue the discussion on religion.
He was making a play on words because this thread is about Bryce PETTY. Maybe you hadn't noticed because you were too busy talking about religion.
Did I miss a sarcasm emoticon or something in this post? Did you really miss the pettyful in a thread about Petty? Lord have mercy...
What - they draft early today or something? I missed half of the draft today! Boo! --------------------------------------------------------------------- That said, this is a good pick too. I like the way this front office approaches the draft.
Guys stop talking about religion now for serious in this thread. You are going to make Petro angry and you wont like him angry.
I'd be happy to discuss this with you offline if you want. It's not a "Protestant" vs Catholic thing as I see it. It's about really wanting to know the truth and to understand who God and who He isn't. You want to know what God's word is vs. what's just the word of men. One has power and lasts forever; the other doesn't. It has nothing to do with Joel Osteen. I've never actually listened to him preach, and there are millions of believers around the world (probably 99.9 % I'd say) who haven't either. It's about who Jesus is and specifically, who He is to you in your life.
