We were 8th in points scored last season but I doubt Cimini would know that.

I doubt that's relevant. We got a ton of big plays but we were miserable in the red zone

I can't remember one flea flicker last year either. Its not relevant to the RZ but just a thought...

That day can't come soon enough... don't get me wrong, he's not a TOTAL shit... but he always thinks he can outsmart everyone, and he finishes in outsmarting himself too.
We have the talent there, just ask them to execute!

I agree with the post about using Sanchez's mobility in the red zone - this should be priority one so to speak, along with getting Braylon involved.

I know everyone hates Cimini waaah waaah but we did suck ass in the red zone. The best play though all year in the red zone was the Sanchez naked boot. That was it though, we used it too soon almost and when we needed it again AFC Champ the Steelers would've expected it that time. However it doesnt have to be a naked boot it can be a rollout with a TE or something coming across.

Schotty has his flaws but one thing I really like with him is in short yardage (pre-red zone). He uses some very creative plays on 3 and 3 for the 45 for example, roll outs, tosses, traps, buttonhooks etc. The mystery is when its 3rd and goal FROM the 3... in my opinion he overthinks himself. I understand its more difficult with the shorter field but why not try the same creative short yardage plays you used all down the field to get there?
