As long as everyone stays healthy anything less than 11-5 would be a disappointment. EDIT: Unless we go 10-6 and win the Super Bowl, of course.
Orton doesn't get enough credit for what he did last season, he is a solid QB that won't make a lot of mistakes. I think if their defense is as good as last season and they grab Dez Bryant they are a Legit 10-6 team. You are very right in saying its gonna be a defensive game; should be a fun one to watch.
The Giants got fucking shafted. Look at all those 1:00P.M. games. Holy shit. That used to be us. Thank god by the way I don't have to wake up at 8am to get shit done, so I can watch the Jets at 1PM. Now I can slack off, and be ready by 4:15. Prime Time Games 7:00P.M.+ Jets-5 Giants-3 Mid Day Games 4:15P.M. Jets-4 Giants-3 Early Games 1:00P.M. Jets 1:00PM -7 Giants 1:00PM -9 Hehe seems like the 'hot' team has the spotlight now. All Rex needs to do is win the SuperBowl.
http://www.newyorkjets.com/blog/posts/1598-some-prime-real-estate-for-green-white Randy Lange reported the Jets could be flexed into a 6th prime time game. Quoted the NFL as the source.
I don't know about 3, but the Pats play the Jets and Bills the 1st couple of weeks almost every year it seems. Tough schedules for the AFC East this year. One plus for the Jets is the Pats play Colts and Chargers while Jets get Broncos and Texans. That could play big into who wins this division.
who else remembers the really tough start we had this year... you never know how the season will play out... i like rex getting the boys fired up for the ravens and pats... i think snf in miami could be trouble and the bills are the bills... i like us 3-1 through 4
exactly.i counted on that columbus bullshit holiday as a get out of jail free card. the thanksgiving game doesnt count as a primetime game. primetime games are nbc or espn games not the nfl channel games. so we have 4 prime time games which we can be flexed 1 more time
What no west coast game? I guess I will not be seeing them live this year, oh well. At lease we got a thanksgiving day game and tons of prime time games. Finally we got some respect from the NFL front office.
I'm not sure if this question was answered in this thread yet. According to The Sporting News website: A team is allowed a maximum five prime-time appearances per season, with three teams permitted to play a sixth as long as one of those six games is on the NFL Network.
