This cliche about the Pats defense being old and slow is getting ridiculous. A year ago this would have applied, but right now the only two players that could really be reffered to like that with any validity are Vrabel and O'neal. But that's besides the point. I'm sure that this statement will be used as "bulletin board material" but I am even more sure that it won't make one bit of a difference. If trash talking from the opposition motivates a team to the extent that they play better because of it, then that team simply lacks motivation. That's not the case on either side.
Matt Jones was a QB in college and so it is unrealistic to expect him to be a star. He could have been a solid starter if he put the work in, chose not to. edit: MJ has 50 catches already, maybe he's been scared straight.
