Totally sucks…Brown and Smith will most likely have great days when Hurts isn’t running for first downs on us

I think we have like no chance in this game…with or without Sauce

Just sucks…but I’m prepping to get in the mindset of this will be a loss, we’ll have the bye, and hopefully both Reed and Sauce will be back after the bye, our schedule should ease up a bit, and maybe we can win some games after the bye

But I’m not expecting us to win this game by any means, even if Sauce were playing

You're right, they're deadlier. Arms and legs can just cripple a guy, concussions kill.

It's not like NOT posting them changes anything as far as the numbers go. What I'm getting at is that the raw numbers don't tell the full story. And while Douglas has done much better at addressing the offense, it's not like he's over invested in it either. We have an elite defense because of the investment made in it. They haven't invested nearly that much in the offense.

The numbers literally prove we’ve over-invested in the offense. We’ve just been shittier when taking out those investments. Imagine you spend $1,000 in Apple stocks and $10,000 in Brotherhood Pharmaceuticals that goes bankrupt in a year and a half. You invested more in BP, it just didn’t go as good as your Apple investment.

I hear what you're saying and agree with that aspect, but when they've made mistakes on "D" they invest even more money and effort into it. Or to put it another way, if they invested in the defense the way they've invested in offense, do you think the "D" would be anywhere near as good as it is? They simply value defense over offense and that's why they get the results they get.

There's a saying: "You get more of whatever you focus on". This is an example of that.
