Ladies and gentlemen, we have draft pick numbers.(Also ladies and gentlemen, these numbers are subject to change 😅)— New York Jets (@nyjets) May 6, 2022 Numbers for our draft picks during minicamp. I would imagine these numbers will change before Week 1.

Jets GM Joe Douglas and HC Robert Saleh are wearing sweatshirts with No. 9 and “LaPenna” honoring Lazar LaPenna, the LI little leaguer who tragically passed away pic.twitter.com/FQzmJviYlM— Brian Costello (@BrianCoz) May 6, 2022 The Jets also have a 9 jersey with LaPenna’s name on it hanging on one end of the field house. No one will wear the jersey 9 this weekend. pic.twitter.com/EvmiofVvNB— Brian Costello (@BrianCoz) May 6, 2022 #Jets are honoring Lazar LaPenna, the 10-year-old boy who passed away while playing in a Little League game. They have a NYJ jersey with his name & # hanging in end zone, Robert Saleh & Joe Douglas are wearing shirts with his name, and no player at rookie camp was assigned #9 pic.twitter.com/w4J7xSs88j— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) May 6, 2022

Rookie minicamp take at: Michael Clemons (72) is a big dude. Super long arms — OT-type length there. #Jets pic.twitter.com/bmT74iu5Qw— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) May 6, 2022

Here’s the No. 4 overall pick, CB Sauce Gardner. #Jets pic.twitter.com/goBr1zLfTl— Dennis Waszak Jr. (@DWAZ73) May 6, 2022
I thought it would be cool if Sauce was #4 similar to how Wilson is #2, but I guess a kicker has that number?
That would be cool. Wilson 2, Sauce 4, Wilson 10, Hall 36, I don't think they would let Ruckert be 101 or Johnson 26. But the first 4 would be cool. Elijah could switch to 34 and Corey Davis 5.
Doesn’t look like the #Jets are going to have their rookies do much today. That makes some sense. Why risk injury? Gardner, Wilson & Hall all off to the side. Haven’t seen Johnson or Clemons do much, either— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) May 6, 2022 The #Jets have Sauce Gardner in the defense-only drills— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) May 6, 2022 Pretty cool: Sauce Gardner is still doing just the defense-only drills. When he’s not on the field taking his rep, though, he stands 5-10 yards back from his corner spot. He then goes through all the motions as if he’s on the field. Jake Heaps used to do this, too. #Jets— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) May 6, 2022
