If you hadn't taken the quote out of context you would've -- derp -- understand what I wrote/meant: Has he always been inconsistent? Yes. But all real Jets fans know that Sanchez has (albeit briefly) had moments of brilliance. See: Playoffs. Schotty isn't the O-Coordinator anymore.
26 turnovers in 16 games. Only went three games without a single turnover. Had multiple turnovers in 8 of 16 games.
Total number of turnovers as opposed to turnover rate? If so let's get Brady Quinn to replace Sanchez.
I am disappointed that Manesh wrote this article now instead of after the season. I wish he had held it until after the season.
It's nice to meet you too. Don't count your chickens before they hatch! Does a bear shit in the woods?
You know. While we still have Sanchez in there for one more game. We should run the hurry up. The only downside of the hurry up is putting our D on the field more often and frequent. Doesn't matter. Sanchez accomplishes that all on his own anyway with his consecutive 3 and out streaks. At least we could attempt to catch someone off guard besides ourselves. Sanchez has to be leading the league in consecutive 3 and outs. Or at least for least time of offensive possession. Can anyone pull that up?
Matt Slauson was asked that after San Fran game, I remembered it. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/10/05/slauson-on-tebow-that-option-is-not-an-option/ Read the headline, ever though it wasn't that bad at all. In a way he has a point, this offense is suited to Sanchez's skill set.
Shock: when the media no longer has anything positive to write about Tebow they'll still find a way to write/talk about him. On behalf of Tebow, it's really really sad that the media doesn't give two shits about his well-being.
do you have a link for the three and out statement? I have been trying to find that info, but havent been able so far
You too my brother! New to this site. Have to let my jet anger out somewhere. All giants fans around me
Giants fans are just bitter that their team manages to look like the worst team in the league for at least one week every year (despite their recent playoff success)
I just don't understand sports reporting (at least local reporting). What's the point of covering a team if you're not going to do it accurately and you're going to piss off the fans? I don't understand why Manish doesn't just apply to work at CNBC or something
Sigh. You're hopeless. Everyone has had moments of brilliance. It's the NFL. Tebow threw for 300 yards in a playoff win against the best defense in the league. Derek Anderson looked great for moments at a time, too. Vince Young won Rookie of the Year. And unfortunately, you're not keeping up. Sanchez isn't inconsistent. He's terribly consistent. Excuse me -- I mean consistently terrible. Here's what you can expect from Sanchez: 2009: 28th in passer rating, 29th in completion percentage 2010: 27th in passer rating, 29th in completion percentage 2011: 23rd in passer rating, 28th in completion percentage 2012: 30th in passer rating, 33rd in completion percentage And unfortunately, Schotty isn't a sufficient excuse anymore. He got a new OC and his numbers are even worse. There's not an OC on the planet that can turn Sanchez into anything other than one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL because hey, he's one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL.
A statistic I would like to see for both Sanchez and Tebow (but am too lazy to find/calculate): (Total Fumbles + INTs + Dropped INTs)/GP Note: not saying it would matter, I'm just curious
