you have a great point Greggy in the fact that I would have said F it to yesterdays game but I cant miss any because of the bonus points and what items I like to redeem go for at the end. to add insult to injury almost 3 hour car ride after to queens.
Big thanks to JillF for negotiating food for the suite! It nearly took an act of congress, but you did it! It seems a decision was made to cut the 'light food and beverages' from the rewards suite even though it's still mentioned in the follow up email. I'm guessing it's to save money, although I can't imagine chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks break the budget. All of the rewards seem disappointing this season. The suite is still a good time even without food. They just need to let folks know what to expect so they can plan the long walk to the expensive cheese fries. Not likely. I spoke with the boss of the suite attendants, the kitchen and then finally a Jets rep who was sent down to appease me. They only agreed to provide food after almost an hour of discussion, being denied several times and repeatedly showing them my email that said light food would be provided. The Jets rep told me that this is the new policy.... No food or drink provided to the suite unless a credit card is provided by someone in the suite who then places an order. I have a suite for the Pats game also. The greasy chicken fingers and cold mozzarella sticks sucked anyway. You can get food from the club downstairs or stop at the new Fresh Petite booth for something healthy. At least they have decent food.
