    I love it!

He got washed out of the play before he got back up and made the play.

Maybin is pretty much the one bright spot in this game.

...but he still made the play. You can't say that for any of our other OLBs.

Ryan's scheme has failed over the past two games. His blitzes have fallen flat in many games.

I noticed that too many times on 3rd and long we're calling a blitz and leaving most db's 1 on 1 coverage. It may work at times but we need to learn how to switch it up and on 3rd and long give the offense another look. Such as dropping our guys in a zone and protecting the first down marker when it's 3rd and long.

Everything else about the game sucked but this guy played as good as you could ever want. He played like a crazy man who was totally obsessed. Of course he is playing to to keep a job but if he can keep up that level of intensity it will be the best few hundred grand the Jets have spent in their history.

I don't know how many actual plays he was in on but he had a sack, a FF, a couple of tackles and I think another sack or FF called back because of a penalty. He made Pace better when he was on the field and I would be worried if I were Brady. It was probably the best pass rush by the Jets I have seen in years.

Eliminate the word probably from your sentence and you are spot on.

He should have been on the team the whole season. He was on the field for how many snaps yesterday.. 10? And he recorded a sack, forced fumble, and damn near got Flacco on an earlier play. I don't care if he gets blocked too far upfield on most plays, it's better than what we get on the pass rush from Bryan Thomas, Westerman, or pretty much any other edge rusher other than Pace.

We're going to need him a lot this week against the Pats to try and provide any semblance of a pass rush against Brady.

    OMG SUCH A DESPERATION SIGNING!

Still laughing at the people that thought this was a bad move. He was the best pass rusher available to us, no matter how much he may have sucked in previous years. And look at that, his first game on the field for us in a totally new system with totally new coaches and surrounding talent... he produces.

Extremely! We just have not had a player who can put pressure on the QB consistently since Abraham left.

as predicted, he was very effective on 3rd downs. Even when he was pushed out of the way easily, he has the speed to cover ground on the QB VERY quickly. Cant wait for next week.

With the Jets known for bringing pressure from all over, having Maybin and his speed out there is going to give QB's something to think about. He's definitely our fastest pass rusher since Abraham. It's nice to have a little speed out there for a change.
