Hey, if the Jets are going to draft a WR in the 1st round, we should just give our first to AZ for Boldin

Neither franchise has smelled the superbowl in past few decades, so stating that they won't win a superbowl down here with us isn't saying much. Now the fact that it might bring us few more division titles is a whole different story.

I agree :D Plus we can probably get Maclin at 17 or Britt/Nicks a few picks later... this really is excellent news.

Let's keep it in perspective, a certain number 12 is returning this summer. I think they may have more a say in who wins the title.

I still don't think the Jets will use their first on a WR. They really don't need to.

They already have a speedster in Ginn, I think Coles would probably be a good compliment in their corps. I doubt Revis would be covering LC.

I agree, the secondary is more important in my eyes. It all depends on what kind of offensive identity Ryan wants to develop.

I think it's our common enemy.
Im sure they will have intents on winning the division, but new season, new things happen. Buffalo didn't do much last year, but neither did we (that's quite an understatement) in 2007. It just proves once again that in this league, anything can happen. Unless of course your the Detroit Lions.

They are amassing a lot of cash for something. Can't wait until Friday..or Saturday to avoid suspicion.

Its like a gift from the NFL Gods. Idiot gave up 6 million and got us off the hook. He was a # 2 at best and injury prone

all that matters is a superbowl. you can win the next ten division titles, no superbowls kinda makes it pointless. but now you can get a little of the jets misery. you can watch chad choke in big games, and listen to coles bitch about money all offseason.

Me neither. I'm sure at 12:01AM Friday there will be a million posts saying "Why haven't the Jets signed so and so yet?!?!" This will be a very exciting FA period. I hope we can get at least one big name and sign guys like Leon and Mangold to extensions

Coles in Miami would be a fit. Not sure whether it puts you guys over the top or not but I still think the man is going to wind up with 900 catches or thereabouts and that gives him a good 270 to go or about 4 seasons of decent production.

Coles is a little slow these days, and Lowery isn't a speedster either.... that would be a fun matchup to watch.
