So what? Where does he rank in games played? He played along time. Don't worry, I'll show you the real fatcs. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show and I'll test my memory up against yours any day.
Mr. 3rd down almost cost us our 2002 season w/ that fumble against the Browns then trying to leap into the EZ from the 20 against the Bears. he cost us 2 games that year.
We can then say Boldin and Fitz are only good cause the defense has to double team one. Leaving the other on single coverage. So if one departs the other will suck and so they are overrated. You still have to catch the ball....
Is no one realizing he's not gone? They are just letting him become a FA. We could just as easily sign him. It gets us off the hook for his $6mil and he gets to test the waters
I am going to place my bets on him in Miami. The other possible destination I read somewhere was Jacksonville, his house is there.
Cherbet is the most overrated Jet player of all time. Although Chebet has not played in one pro bowl ever many people think that the Jets should retire his number. There are only three Jets in the history of the team with retired numbers and two of them are in the hall of fame. Alot of people think that Cherbet was better than Keyshawn Johnson. Unlike Cherbet, Keyshawn has been to the pro bowl and started for a winning team in a Superbowl. Johnson also leads Cherbet in every statistical category. Even more ridiculous is that some people think that Cherbet is the best WR i Jets history even though Don Maynard is in the HOF. Nevermind that we also had Al Toon and Wesley Walker.
He was trying to get it done on that play, god forbid. And how many head shots had he taken by that point in his career from getting creamed over the middle for how many years? 2002 was not a high point for him. He certainly wasn't a favorite of your boy when he took over.
Keyshawn was also the 1st pick in the draft. The pro bowl dont mean crap. Brett Favre was voted this year. As far as a Super Bowl Trent Dilfer statred for a winning team in the Superbowl. Where does Johnson lead Wayne is stats? As far as Jets stats? Because you are 100% incorrect.
See this is where you stat guys lose touch.....there are key moments in games when a player consistently comes through and without them, there wasn't going to be a W. It's called clutch. Wayne was clutch. That's why people want his jersey up there. We may not have that world-class nyjunc memory but who needs it when Wayne was burning "clutch" into your ROM on a weekly basis.
Excellent post bro:beer: Jets fans see an undersized white dude and they go all gogglyeyed... See Jim Leonhard for Exhibit B.
An undersized white guy that went undrafted lasted 11 season with one team. Never bitched about money. Love playing the game.Lets bad mouth the guy.
What really did it for me was that little white guy was clutch. Was he the best ever? Not by a long shot. Was he better than Keyshawn? At times he was, but yes Key has had much more success, so...no. Was he better than Coles? In many, many ways, yup. Therefore Clutch > Coles.
