While I would not say that Coles is a top 10 WR he is worth every penny of the $6-7 million the Jets were going to pay him to play next year. While Coles and Moore have been whiners they are also two of the best players we have. Letting him hit the free agent market a year early is a bad idea.

Hopefully we have the insane luck we had in last years free agent market and get three of the top ten free agents again this year.

As much as I'd like to have Boldin's production, I just don't know IF we get him that we won't be trading one complainer for another. I gotta be honest, seeing him blasting the offensive coordinator on the sidelines while the team was in the process of winning a playoff game, reminded me of a guy named T.O.

Why am I having flashbacks to the year we got rid of Mawae and Abraham?

Sure getting rid of Coles frees up cap room but we will most likely have to use our top draft choice on a WR. If we kept Coles we could have addressed another need or taken BAP instead of having a huge gaping hole at WR.

We could sign Housh or another top WR in free agnecy but there are 31 other teams with the same idea that could easly beat us to it.

Coles is a serious medical risk. He's had a history of concussions the past few years. That tends to get worse, not better, as the player gets older. So I really didn't like the risk the Jets were taking with a guaranteed contract.

It looks like the coach is definately going to be beefing up the defense this year in free agency then goin offense in the draft or vice versa

Anquan Boldin ::clap clap-clap clap clap::.

I know its not going to happen. Ughh I don't know. I'm conflicted on this move. On one hand who knows he could come back if he doesn't get the long term deal he wants. I'm not going to call him a whiny bitch because he essentially let the jets off the hook for 6 million on the cap and future salary and imo he's a declining player. I don't know. I got kind of tired of him bitching every off-season. Can't deny when he was healthy though he was a PLAYER. Over the middle, playing hurt the guy had heart and was tough. Oh well, out with the old...

I would kill for Boldin on the jets but I don't want to give up what someone will pay Arizona for him in terms of draft picks

    hahahaha simpsons referernce very clutch

  20. Coles is a top 10 WR 50% of the time(usually the first 8 games or so). But he is horribly inconsistent mainly due to his toe condition. The whining he's done over the past year or so is incredible..and it's a wonder he's lasted this long.
