Even if what your saying is correct, it's just as bad as if not worse. You're saying you are ok with cutting the clearly more talented player because of cost? Really, it's not like the Jets are cash strapped, generally teams want to keep the better players, but I guess the Jets operate differently.
So let me guess, you're saying that Hackenberg, who they wouldn't even let on the field is more talented than Petty?
The fact that your calling Bryce Petty talented at all shows a lot of bias. Both of these guys do not belong in the NFL. I'm perfectly fine rolling into camp with Darnold, McCown, and Teddy.
Yep, trolls gonna troll. I already made my position clear on both of them, your just a waste of time and space at this point.
they are both scrubs ... its easier to cut Petty cause of his cap hit ... dont make it anything more than that.
This whole trolling routine has been so poorly executed by you. If you're going to troll at least be entertaining.
Petty is a proven "D-" level QB. Hack appears to be an "F" or "F+" QB, but hasn't yet proven it. You're trying to argue that a guy we know for sure can't help us in any way is a better use of a roster spot than a guy we're all just pretty sure can't help us in any way? How dare the Jets give a Hack a chance at another training camp? What a terrible use of our #4 QB spot! For shame!!!
But Petty is much less cerebral and mu Hack can be cut anytime and designated a post June 1 cut . Don't actually have to wait till June 1 for the savings. I think the FO is wanting to see if he has developed at all and if he is a viable option in case Teddy's knee doesn't hold up.
