'Pumped' is Scottish for 'violently made love to'. Probably what he meant.

Bye bye Cro. Go enjoy playing for more somewhere else, we had better not break the bank to re-sign this guy.

It's his way of saying "I want to come back to the Jets, but I have to also think about my family, etc." He'd be an idiot to come out and say that he's willing to take less money to come and play for Rex.

I guess Cro forgot all about the Jets fronting him a half mill for his "family" that he's managed to scatter all over the goddamn world.

That's fine but there's no need to say that in the press. if the Jets didn't front him money he would have been in trouble a year ago for his familieS. he didn't have to say a word, he's going to get paid really well and i'm sure he'll blow through it in a few years no matter how much he gets.

Hometown discount or not, I like how he tells the Jets organization to GFY after they fronted him all his money last year to feed his zoo of kids

Cro wants market value. Good for him. He's coming off his rookie contract and wants to get paid. He said he's going to let the nnamdi deal dictate his contract, so clearly he's not going to sign with anyone until aso signs his deal. Cro is going to be a FA for a while.

I don't get how everyone becomes so sour because he's not sucking the dick of the jets.

This was expected. Same with Santonio. They're going to test the market. Braylon had a giant rookie contract. He's at peace mentally in terms of where he's playing. That's why he's fiscally the best option to negotiate with first.

I have no problem w/ him trying to get as much as possible, the problem is announcing it especially after what the Jets did for him. I doubt Braylon will take a discount either but he played the PR game the right way.

That doesn't matter when you want another player to set your deal. I don't think it was a big deal for the jets to front him that cash early. His game checks had to be substantially less since he got a half mil up front. I don't see that one move as being the reason why he should spend 3 days negotiating with the jets when he's not going to sign anything.

I'm fine w/ what he is doing, my problem comes w/ how he went about it. Then again we all know he's not the brightest guy on the planet so maybe my expectations were too high for him.
