Yeah I'll take Dave Caldwell, he built that offense into a elite one, although they have no run game, he is a good start
Little update on Caldwell from roto. Falcons director of player personnel David Caldwell is reportedly a "strong candidate" for the Browns' vacant GM position. Caldwell already has interviews lined up or requested with the Jaguars, Jets, and Chargers. According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, potential candidates for the Browns GM job include Steve Keim and Jason Licht of the Cardinals, Ray Farmer of the Chiefs, John Idzik of the Seahawks, and Michael Lombardi of NFL Network.
Falcons had one of the best run games the previous 2 years before this one. They moved to a more passing offense this year.
Wonder how much Woody is willing to pay a new GM. I think Rex gets close to $3M. How much was Tanny getting paid? I would guess $4M-$5M? Woody will have to double that to get a top GM. I'd guess....$8M-$10M / yr? Top HCs in the league get $8M and up. I guess we'll find out sooooon how cheap Woody is or isn't.
Mike Smith was part of the Ravens SB winning staff in 2000. He was Defensive Assistant/Defensive Line coach for 3 years. LB coach for 1 year. Then he went to Jacksonville as DC. Smith was Rex Ryan's assistant. Ryan was defensive line coach for the Ravens.
