not too much but the 15 yarder on johnson was a killer. the drive was over. we would have gotten the ball back and instead they got to eat up more clock and score on that drive
In that case it's not worth trading for him now. He's not going to give 100% while playing on the tag he'll be looking to protect himself for the offseason. If they're serious about this wait until then.
I don't know about you all, but this post is the best I have read lately. Best chuckle I have had in a couple days. Thanks Rollo.
Of course the point is not really that one actually hurt the team and the other didn't, but that both were totally unnecessary had the potential to hurt the team. Penalties happen and flags could probably be thrown on nearly every play. A player can do the exact same thing three times in a row and get called once because it catches the refs eye. Sometimes its just plain bad luck. This type of penalty is totally avoidable though and has the potential to significantly impact the game.
agreed. dumb unnecessary penalties. I mean sometimes penalties are understandable. a lineman gets beat and holds a DE to protect the QB. whatever i can live with that. a CB gest beat and grabs the WR to prevent a TD, whatever i can live with that. but bonehead after the play penalties piss me off
Seriously, if Jets need a fucking headcase, they can go after Dez Bryant - Jet can get him without a draft pick, if anything. And he can catch some football and hold onto it, unlike a few I would not name.
James Harrison is advising Bell to return to the Steelers then fake a injury to miss games. STAY AWAY UNTIL THE OFFSEASON!!!!!! And I just found out he has two strikes against him in the league's substance abuse policy which is making me rethink bringing him in at all.
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...er-team-why-rb-wont-play-again-in-pittsburgh/ Ship Foles to 9ers and then Eagles land Bell. Would be wild.
In terms of Madden, would be a great acquisition--in terms of real life, wouldn't make the most sense.
eagles have ajayi, clement, and sproles. they really don't need a RB. they need a WR more then anything
Anderson has 3 fumbles in his first 35 games. Dez had 5 in his first 32 and 10 by the end of season 3. Robbys fumble issues are overblown.
Not so good on bubble screens unfortunately, so best we move on from him, the dream was real for a little bit as well.
The dividing line of the geriatric patients in here having a wheelchair race and the youth element on roller-skates is obvious. Youth tends to dismiss this stuff more often and more easily because it's generally more accepted that acting like a bald-faced idiot is not a big deal. It was completely immature, a show of disrespect to his teammates, band a huge show of disrespect for Todd Bowles. Love or leave him, he's still your boss. So it's not only WHAT he did that was mind-numbingly stupid, but anything he would've done that could be construed unsportsmanlike conduct would have been beyond idiotic. I'm gonna say it again: Bowles should've benched him on the spot. The Jets aren't doin' so hot in the penalty dept. and they certainly don't need something moronic like that to help it along. Crowell turned it into it being all about him. Butthurt about being discarded by Cleveland? Show it on the field, you jack ass. I don't agree that it didn't potentially affect the outcome of the game. The Jets got an undisciplined penalty directly after it, and you never know what could have happened. And again, no I don't want Bell. Let him hoodwink somebody else. We've seen this movie before.
