    Regardless who broke it I'm excited to see Holmes coming back, really liked Braylon, maybe with the news of this signing the jets can get him on the cheap

    This was probably a smudge up by guys at ESPN but right before Rick Neuhiesel (sp) went on Sportscenter, it said Braylon Edwards agrees to terms w/ Jets on their FA tracker on the right.

    I also read some where if teams re-signed their own players that they can be with the team right away and now wait till friday?

    is it 5 yr 50 mil for holmes or 5 @ 24 mil?

    5@24 would seem low.

    Seriously, the way he went off on how the Jets had no chance of getting NNAMDI (everyone happy),,, if it ever happened, he'd really look ridiculous. He did say all along that they had to re-sign Holmes and never really said he didn't think it would happen.

    24 is the guarantee number. I'm assuming 50 is the full number for the life of the deal.
