I think Fales was a just in case we need someone who knows the system, as a backup. Morgan to Joe D was a great value pick in his eyes so he pulled the trigger there. Flacco was the vet they probably figured wouldn’t be around still this late in FA, so they figured to bring him in and if he’s healthy he’s still a solid QB to backup Sam, and to keep Morgan from taking meaningful snaps as he can develop slow. Fales is clearly the odd man out here.
