The playoff for the Jets is contingent on two things happening and two things only. Unfortunately the first is even more unlikely than the second: -Ravens loose two games AND the JETs win all 3
at least it was a good season for the team all things considered...frustrating to know there are a couple of games out there the jets should have won which would have changed a lot...but there's also a bunch we should have lost... all in all, a promising season. and given the state of things what do we do at QB? 1)Stay with Geno 2) Draft a new QB 3) Sign a vet 4) Combo of 1 and 3? 5) Combo of 2 and 3? 6) Kill ourselves
Well put Turk. My two cents is categorically number 5. Not nearly enough positive body of evidence to remotely indicate Geno is our guy. He might surprise us, but we need to continue our pursuit till we know for sure.
Option 3 includes the ability to draft playmakers. I think in the end well do what we did last year. Look for a playmaking WR/TE (like Austin) but if they're not there and a QB falls, take him if he's BPA.
NE plays Miami and Baltimore, losing their best offensive weapon for Brady hurts their chances. Chances are they will still win but it became more difficult.
I see what your saying but NE seems to win no matter what lately, they should win out regardless but ya never know.
He'll I say we go 1,2 and 3 while suggesting some of the people around here look into number 6 to make the world a better place.
I think Miami has a great shot, they are playing w/ a lot of confidence right now and that is the biggest home game in about a decade.
Its interesting, every game that us Jets fans will be following are all in their own timeslots Thursday Night: SD @ Denver Sunday @ 1: NE @ MIA Sunday @ 4: NY @ CAR Sunday @ 8: CIN @ PIT MNF: BALT @ DET Going to be a stressful weekend lmao cuz each game is at its own time.
FYI. No tailgating allowed at the SB in Feb. But you can pay $51 to get a shuttle to take you there. What a joke. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/10109826/no-tailgating-parties-super-bowl-stadium
This Jets script writes itself: Jets stun the Panthers....then lose at home to the Browns. You can almost take it to the bank.
This isn't heartbreaking enough. Jets stun the Panthers, beat the Browns convincingly, then in a win&in scenario, lose to the dolphins.
Well, I am convinced they will lose to the Browns if they beat the Panthers. Letdowns like that are the Jets MO. But, there may be some freaky scenario that will play out for a potential win-and-in, even after losing to the Browns.
