Geno didn't really show up... He managed the game and didn't turn the ball over. He did have a nice TD run but missed some wide open receivers numerous times... Guy has a lot of work to do..

Way to early but no one EVER expects a rookie QB to win the Super Bowl. Roethlsibergers first year it looked like a possibility, Flacco and Sanchez were unbale to. Shaun King well he couldnt do it either.

The AFC is extremely wide open though, Broncos are a good team but not an all time great team. Chiefs are beatable if you dont turn it over. As the Super Bowl approaches though the story is going to get big here, NYC is going to ride the Jets like no tomorrow if we are in the playoff mix.

We still have some pretty rough games left on the schedule. Particularly some of the road games (4). We should win our remaining home games with a struggle perhaps in one of them. The Browns no longer suck and have a pretty good defense just like ours and should give us a game. The Raiders at home and the Phish should both be victories.

Its the road where we'll make our bones. Ravens and the Panthers will provide a great test as to just how good we really are. The Ravens aren't who they used to be and neither are the Panthers so, if we split those games, I'd be happy. Buffalo and Miami on the road won't be cakewalks either as both teams will be playing us the second time.

All in all, we stand as good a chance for a wildcard as any other 5-4/4-5 team still in the conversation.

Can we win two games in a row before we start writing super bowl history here? I mean it is great to day dream about, but let's be real

Titans, Chargers, Dolphins and Ravens are our biggest competition for the 6th seed. Chargers schedule is brutal, Dolphins are in turmoil, and Ravens just don't look right. Tennessee is tough though.

Would want to play Indy the most. Then Patriots.

But let's see how Bengals handle the loss to Geno Atkins. That combined with Dalton crashing back down to earth last Thursday, could send them into a spiral.

How do you know Geno missed the wide open receiver vs the receiver wasn't where he was supposed to be? There was one route, in particular, where Hill ran a fly that was supposed to be in (as that's where the ball was thrown). Geno had no TEs and no WRs to throw the ball to. You can't expect Geno to do great things with no one to throw the ball to.

However, help should be coming with Holmes, Cumberland and Winslow coming back after the bye week. Hopefully, Kerley is back too.

Getting healthy as possible will be key right now, our schedule lightens up a bit and if we can be as close to 100% strength as possible we might be able to make a run. We need to win games, we are going to get killed on conference record if it comes to tiebreakers

Miami still has to play the Pats and SD will be a tougher game for them then OAK will for us.

Not necessarily I would say 10-6 would almost guarantee. 9-7 though Tennessee may very well finish at that and if they do they hold the tiebreaker. One game at a time though.

The defense has to be licking it's chops over our remaining schedule. Here are our opponents offensive ranks:

    Bills-15th
    Ravens-23rd
    Dolphins-28th
    Raiders-14th
    Panthers-20th
    Browns-26th
    Dolphins-28th

No one is currently better than 14th. Obviously subject to change as the weeks progress, but an early indication nonetheless.

Yeah Titans get Indy twice and Denver -- but they also get Jags twice, Cardinals, Raiders, and Houston.

So 9-7 plus the head to head - 10-6 is safer.

If we do split with the Fins I think the home teams wins both game. With they're OL having so much problems our DLine should feast, our running game won't be as much as a factor so Geno needs to come to play.

Raiders traveling cross country should be an advantage for us, hope it's a 1 pm start time.
