the matchups are there for the jets to actually get in, the only matchup that has me scared is our jets beating the dolphins. if the jets win, the other 3 scenarios are all more than a longshot, they are all very possible. at least we'll know early on sunday if the jets are still alive or not.
To me the season ended last week...I'm tired of always worrying about other teams results the last week of the season. Add that to the fact the giants are playing in NY this Sunday for a division title. This season was a failure on so many levels and it was fucked in the pre season when the organization got cocky and thought they could win with anyone. We were worse in every part of the game. Sorry I just can't even be mildly excited for this game. I am however predicting a shit show similiar to week 17 2008. This team has 0 fight.
it was a tough year, but as of the last 3 seasons the team has surprised us in a good way a lot more often than their ways of old.
Yeah im really hoping the Chargers wreck the Raiders season. We all know the Chiefs are out to beat the Broncos, hopefully both go down. Fuck em both.
Andre Johnson practices, Gary Kubiak hopes to play him Sunday http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...actices-gary-kubiak-hopes-to-play-him-sunday/
Because the team and head coach have publicly denied the rumors of Schotty being fired. If the Jets make the playoffs, he's not getting fired until they lose. Don't just take Rich Cimini at his word, there's still a possibility that they keep him around, if they can't find the right replacement.
I'd accept Haley only on the condition that he gets punched in the face before halftime in each game.
Interesting thread to review, since Turk initially posted it the week after the Broncos loss. In one sense, losing to both the Giants and Eagles made this week easier. Had I known ahead of time that we were going to suck ass in (at least) two of the last three games, I'd have chosen the first two every single day of the week. But it's really a choice between gutting myself with a steak knife or bashing my own head in with a brick.
I know we're not mathematically eliminated yet. But we put ourselves in a deep hole. I don't think we're going to climb out of it this year.
Looks to be an easy win for you guys this week... Bush and Long are both out... Such a shame since I wanted to definately screw your chances... Good chance at another 9-7 sneak in...
The day is broke into two parts. The 1:00 pm games, where we need Houston and the Jets to win. If that happens, the 2nd part gets very interesting at 4:15 pm.
it's never a good thing when a team has zero to play for. winning means nothing to the Texans, and everything to the Titans. It will be a miracle if Houston wins that game. By the fourth quarter there won't be a single starter in the game ... and that's when most games are decided. unfortunately, We have almost no hope of getting help there. But if we do receive that miracle, we're getting in. in my mind it all comes down to that game.
