Wasn't there a rumor awhile back that we might possibly be hiring Bill Parcells as a "consultant" or in some other capacity? Wouldn't that be ironic if that happened and then Mangini could pick Parcell's brain on how to game-plan against Dallas? I mean, Jerry Jones would be fit to be tied!

No baamf, here's what you do... you tell them if they're not Jets fans or unwilling to root for the Jets, they don't get in the door. Period. End of discussion.

this isn't good news. Not only does it suck in the fact that I can't enjoy my thanksgiving relaxing, watchin det. and dallas without a care, but couple the fact that dallas always plays great on thanksgiving, its almost like an automatic loss.

call me old-fashioned, but sundays at 1pm is when I want to watch my team, not any other day or time.

What? The NFL has decided to feature the Jets? When did this happen? We're a franchise that has been refused to be marketed. A change in times perhaps.

    In Dallas, as usual.

    ----
I think it's also worth noting that since the Giants are at Dallas week 1, the Jets are pretty much assured of having their home opener the first week of the season.

Hahahahahaaa.... I know what you mean. I'm the same way... it's kind of a ritual I go through. I have to tune in the pregame show and get myself all psyched up. Then, when the game starts, I want ZERO distractions. Leave me the hell alone!

There's gonna be some major indigestion in the NY area on Thanksgiving.

This is great. The perfect game to wear the Titans throwbacks.

Hmmm... maybe not so good now. An away game with a nationwide audience of tens of millions of viewers? Chad sometimes doesn't handle the pressure well going into games like that, especially away. Let's hope our O-line gells real well this year and we can avoid "Chinese Firedrill Mode."

    ----
This I like. I love those September games in the stadium... t-shirt weather. And the Jets at home with all the support? The stadium will ROCK!

They did a couple of years ago when we played Washington to open the season. Too bad Chad was injured. I wonder if Goddell had anything to do with this?

If Dallas wears their traditional Thanksgiving uniforms I wonder if the Jets will wear the 80's unis, or is this the game that they bring back the Titans uniforms?

I'm not sure I like that, I would think that should be done at a home game. Just a thought.

Well there were reports of them wearing the Titans uniforms. Maybe this is why.
