I'd be fine if they went Offensive line in rounds one, two, and at least one in round three. I dont care if they go inside, outside, right, left or center. Just pick guys that will keep defenders off Darnold. The Jets currently dont have one player on the Offensive Line that is a guaranteed starter IMO. I'm fairly confident Darnold is the guy. Hell, even if he isnt, the Jets should still be putting him in the best situation to succeed. Between the draft and free agency, the Jets should be bringing in 5 new offensive linemen.
He's probably right. I don't think Higgins falls far. But Wirfs played out of hus mind this week.. he will go in the top 10 i think. If not they better jump on him.
I'm not against it as long as they can massively improve the O-line. O-line should be first priority.
If no trade back is available here is how a do it. 1a Wirfs 1b Lamb 1c Higgins or Wills 2a Humphrey 2b Little or Prince Tehugwa (?) 2c best wr availble if I didn't go wr in 1st 3-1 ol or edge 3-2ol or edge or cb bpa 4 rb ol edge cb bpa 5 repeat 4 6 repeat 5 add kicker
I don't necessarily agree. I still don't think a trade back is a bad idea. We have 4 months but I think Higgins could fall 15-20. Trey Adams (LT prospect) 15-20. I think Wills could fall 15-20. Trading back is still an option.
We could probably get a 1st and 2nd for him. Which would be great as long as we don't fall to far in the 1st. Someone like chicago wants to move up. We get higgins or adams at 19. Plus a 2nd... totally would make that move.
I feel like the starting gun just fired for the favorite part of the year for many This is still early for many reasons, primarily that we don't yet know who's coming out and who isn't, so that certainly effects things as does free agency signings of course. Anyone have a list of a draft pick slots? I was happy the Giants lost last night after those two wins. Helps those Leo Williams picks...
https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/12/30/nfl-draft-order-2020-first-round-after-regular-season First 20 are set. After that obviously we will see.
We will be rotating from 11-16 every round I believe so 2nd will be 48th (16th that round), 3rd 68th (giants pick 4th each round) and 79th (15th)
He's widely considered a true wr1. Robbie is not. Robbie is a deep threat... a good deep threat. But not a WR1. He doesn't go for 50/50 balls enoguh. His routes are speed wr routes only. He gets knocked around all game. And also he drops balls a lot. Both Lamb and Jeudy are true wr1 prospects.
FA: Brandon Scherff and Jack Conklin Yannick Ngakoue or Dante Fowler Byron Jones or Bradberry Draft: 1: OT 2. WR 3. C 3. WR 4. CB 5. OL 6. OLB ^ Do it.
I bet the Jets make at least one unpopular trade. Jamal or Leveon may be traded. More likely Leveon. Or maybe someone else.
really no point in talking about prospects and what round or predict where they will go. Combine will change everything and FA things change, Also, every year the player Jets fans want never gets picked and another DT or CB will be takin because they were the Best Player Available.
Jamal maybe but if the do they are stupid. Bell isn't going anywhere unless we eat most his contract... again stupid. Not sure who else we could trade.. Herndon has almost no value now. Enunwa will be cut, Crowder has value but... Williamson has some value but not sure its worth it... maybe Maye?
