Do you seriously think the Jets would have beat the Colts if Manning wasn't sitting on the bench? Even if they beat the Bengals, the Jets would have finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs if Manning wasn't sitting on the bench. Could be the biggest gift ever of a team backing into the playoffs.
I'm talking about the Bengals and your point about them was erroneous and a blatant exaggeration. I'm not gonna debate and argue about the biggest gift ever with a Pats fan/troll lurking on a Jets board. That's a joke coming from a Pats fan. Ridiculous, lol
Happens every year. Plus the Colts were playing for an undefeated season at that point and the guys on the field gave 120% every snap. And they lost to a rookie HC/QB Rex/Sanchez. You can't say "If Manning was playing that day they definitely would have beaten the Jets". Manning was playing a few years earlier and the Jets beat him 45-3. Plus the reason Manning got pulled was over injury concerns against Ryans killer D. A concern that may very well have happened. Just don't know. Only thing we DO know is: Jets beat the Colts. "4 teams advance. 3 home teams and the ny fucking jets!!!!". Edit: didn't manning play like the first half of the game and the Jets were already winning when he got pulled?
The biggest gift ever was that bullshit Tuck call. That was a fucking fumble and everyone who saw it knew it. _
Stop it. The rule book also says you should fucking deflate footballs after the refs have checked them. _
With all the end of the world threads that have been started the last 2 weeks, I thought maybe some posters would like to see what they and others were thinking at the beginning of the season. While last Sundays game was really bad, how many actually thought we would be sitting at 4-3 right now? Yes 5-2 would have been so much better but with the Jags coming up this week they have an opportunity to get back on track. The schedule the rest of the way should shake out to 5-4 or 6-3, which would put them on track for a possible WC spot. Those whining that Oakland "figured out the Jets D" must not have seen all the missed tackles. That wasn't them figuring out the D it was just shit play which can be fixed. Of course the big issue is injuries, who's coming back, who's out long term and will there be more? Every team deals with that so all I have to say is, grow a set, last time I heard this much whining was when my kids where in nursery school. Here is another prediction thread, http://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/season-record-predictions.84894/, we are right on track for what most felt the team would do this year.
