    exactly.

the Defense will not be a strength this year any way you look at it; therefore it can't be relied on.

so that means the Offense will have to shoulder the team by scoring points --Chad cannot score a lot of points and he won't, especially against the better Defenses.

the decision from there isn't rocket science.

Again, the big difference is that Chad is playing in a system that has been developed for him. Kellen was playing in Chad's system. I think that if the CS gives Kellen a gameplan to maximize his strengths, we see a big difference.

Also, it looks like my suspicions were correct. Chad's ankle still isn't right and it is affecting his throwing motion. That's why we've seen his range shorten up and his maximum accuracy decrease to 10 yards.

This is one of the basic disagreements I have with you guys. The offense is the offense, they held an open competition to see who could run it, it wasn't designed for Chad. They didn't even know if Chad could still play when they got here. Clemens ran the same stuff when he played beause that's what they do.

The coaches claim to gameplan differently each week, why would they have not put long bombs in for Clemens that week then? He threw one early and over threw it, got another one picked and that was that. When you think about it, the bomb is a low percentage play to begin with, what team makes their living by throwing the bomb all the time? Clemens threw long when we were down late, like Chad did Sunday.

italian seafood...... its an argument for the fan base and media to have drama, oh and i cant forget, arm chair quarterbacks who like to think they can coach in the nfl. i agree with you , but those on here think the switch to a few long passes (whether completed or not) will somehow allow us to be top notch again. completions that chad nor clemens can make.

We want consistent well thrown 10-15 yard outs and slants. Chad can not do that anymore.

so you think a stronger arm is gonna help clemens read the d? there is a reason chad gives us the best chance to win. clemens didnt lead us to a comeback victory, against a team playing semi-prevent with a huge lead.

i guess clemens should be called roger there by allowing him to force it in there. its gonna happen (the switch) just not now. everybody let it die until it does.

Chad put 0 points on the board against the worst Defense in Football in the first half last week. Captain Check down could not even pick that horrible defense apart with half of their starters out. The Ravens are one of the Best Defenses in Football! The Bills are the worst! Happy Feet Chad could not even throw the ball out of bounds when he got the least bit of pressure at the end of the game.
He tries to get JC killed every week with one of his wobbles. Clemens did a good Job of moving the Jets down the field in the 4th Qt down one score against the RAVENS! NOT THE BILLS! Name two bills defensive player. Their coaches probably don't even know half their names! The Ravens have a few that are headed to Canton!

clemens was down 20-3, against the real ravens d. he didnt miraculously improve versus the ravens stop dreaming! we had a chance to win versus buffalo although chad did blow it. our coaching staff is more to blame than chad. if you want to look at it in terms of this d versus that d, chad beat the patriots last year, clemens has yet to win a game!!!!

You're gonna sit there and not only compare Buffalo's D to Baltimore's D, but also try to say that, even when it was a 1 score game, Baltimore was playing prevent? Even though we took a DoG on the final drive because Baltimore had about 9 guys threatening to blitz?

    You're off your rocker

Didn't Baltimore just get lit up by Cleveland? Don't get wrapped up in reputations from prior seasons, just look at how the game unfolded. That's where I made the comparison of the two games being similar.

i must know nothing about football because i didn't know Baltimore being up by one touchdown is a huge lead, a lead in which the D falls into Prevent.

and if it's not a huge lead (which it wasn't, 20-13), and Baltimore isn't playing Prevent (which they weren't) on the last drive, then that means Clemens moved the ball against their D, the D they normally run.

Cleveland has a lot of big play ability.... Baltimore's defense is still good, but just not quite as fast as they used to be.... They are still one of the top run stopping D's in the league, which usually limits an offense, while Buffalo was the WORST coming into last Sunday

I said before the Buffalo game that they lost to the Colts, Broncos and Steelers and see us as a beatable team I will say that Cleveland will say the same when they play us. If we lose 40-17 because Chad can't put points up don't be surprised.
