I agree with you but he clearly isn't getting the same seperation he was prior to his toe injury. Still he is miles better than any one else we have and a solid player.

Sorry, got the years wrong. In '04 though Moss was technically still our #1 and Hackett barely utilized the WRs at points during the season. His numbers may not have been impressive but what he actually did in the games was impressive, at least to me. He basically caught everything in sight, fought for extra yards, and became Chad's "go to" receiver for the most part.

based on that logic guys H.Ward, S.Smith, and the rest of the 5'10" WR's arent #1's

give coles a chance, the last 2 seasons he has had crappy offenses that could never get him the ball

I think we have had too many issues with QB's to make this an issue. Coles is damn good and is more than a posession reciever. He however was our most skilled reciever last year and that is pathetic. McCareins needs to jump ship so someone else can step up. Dwayne Jarrett would be nice but I do not think he is eligible for draft yet.

Can we all say qb with rocket arm and offensive line for santana vs the total opposite for coles. coaches fear coles, they foam at the mouth and lick their chops for chad.
