Well, you'll have to make that playbook around him if his Wonderlic score is somewhere between 6 and 16. You have to draw it in crayon. No single prospect has done less to excite me than Vince Young. Maybe it's because Michael Vick is becoming obsolete as defenses learn how to stop him from running and linebackers become faster. Maybe it's because he's not a Vick level athlete, and running quarterbacks become mediocre quarterbacks once they suffer an inevitable leg injury. Overall, I'm not excited about investing big money in an athlete who plays quarterback. Leinart's ability to read defenses, his experience in a pro offense, and his accuracy and calm demeanor put him light years ahead of Cutler and Young in my mind. It more than makes up for his inferior arm strength. I see Young taking years to develop and Cutler being a guy who forces passes and commits turnovers at the pro level. While I appreciate that both of these guys are competitors and pretty upstanding young men, neither of them really gives me the impression that they will set the league on fire. -X-
