So it is a option, I saw in another thread this was brought up. I think it's a good idea, it can't hurt. It can only help, especially help gain a edge on our own field.

I don't see any reason not to do this. If the wind is that big of an issue it needs to be used to the Jets advantage. Practice there until Sanchez knows exactly how the wind will effect every pass from every part of the field.

THIS! Hell, after last season I don't understand why this wasn't standard, or at the very least have at least a practice a week there. Hope it happens.

I'm amazed that this was not currently the standard way of doing things. Stupid to not try & maximize their grasp of the swirling winds which give them a unique home field advantage.

Surprised it took 7 games to think of this. I realize the wind probably was not as much of a factor earlier, but c'mon.

Anyway, Sanchez, the WR's and Folk should have beds there.

I had read that the Giants and the Jets were both barred from using the stadium for practices. At the old dump, as we all know, the Giants used their stadium for all outdoor practices and the Jets were barred. This was the reason that the Giants had to move their facility from directly next to the stadium to the Timex place where it is now and build separate outdoor practice fields as part of that facility

I guess they can both agree to allow practices at the stadium either the day before the game or sometime during the week to acclimate themselves to the weather conditions as long as neither team is now using it as their primary practice facility

I'm not a weatherman by any stretch but doesn't the weather change on a daily basis? Makes no sense to practice there on a sunny pleasant day and play on a rainy, windy day does it?

Just get on the field early and check the conditions out prior to gametime.

Lol. I'm pretty sure they'd practice when wind is a known factor.

Doesn't take much to check the Internet, but I'm sure the Jets would be a bit more sophisticated.

Calvin Johnson is no slouch, this will be a tough test. He is clearly one of the best if not the best WR in the game. Wait until Stafford gets better.

gotta watch those comeback's with Calvin Johnson. Especially at the goal line. Loves to sprint 3-4yards into endzone, stop his speed completely, run to 2yard line, and extend those lanky ass arms to the goal line.

I'm guessing we'll see bracket coverage on him in red zone situations.

i wonder if this is true because if so then francesa is a liar in addition to an ass. the other day he kept saying "well tom has told me that he would take the team over there to practice for a couple of hours." name dropping coughlin 100 times in a 5 minute span and basically calling the jets morons if they haven't practiced there yet.

Well the Jets are morons if they haven't practiced there yet. Does it piss you off that Francesa said something negative but true?

Seems like such an obvious idea. Why doesn't every team hold practices on their home field? I would imagine it would give any team an edge to be even more comfortable on their own turf, but especially a place like the Meadowlands where the winds have always been an issue.
