WTF? Trying to clear cap space? What the hell happened to the monies we cleared + had already?

There is some $$$ hoarding going on here.
We could easily have one of the best recieving corps in the NFL if we signed Bray

    -Holmes
    -Bray
    -Plax
    -Cotchery
Add Keller @TE ... and the only one who could stop us is Shotty.

I am happy Moore is now a consultant because Shotty needs it.

Roger does have skills and can play decent man-to-man. His largest problem is that he can't catch. His ball skills and awareness are lacking.

Cro has better turnover/big play ability by far!

we are a defense focused, run first team - unless or until sanchez shows he can make best use of those weapons I dont see it happening.

This is his only knock though, not a great pick artist

once again look at the numbers, Cro had one more pick than Rogers last year and Cro played in three more games than he did.

Just say F it. Get Rogers, use the cash you saved from not getting Cro and go grovel to Braylon and ask forgiveness

As evidenced by his grand total of 3 picks last year despite being thrown at all game long for 16 games. Cmon.

If we were gonna just be that, we really wouldn't need Plax...

How much does Sanchez have to show? He's a proven playoff Qb and has several 4thQ wins under his belt.
It's time to ALLOW him to shine....Sanchez has to be allowed to win games sometimes and that means getting weapons and having a 50 pass game or 2.

I'm not saying an all air out attack but no reason we can't become more balanced. The Ground and pound works but it doesn't have to be an end all approach

He'd be miles cheaper than Cro, though. I haven't watched the Foreskins much and don't know much about him.... I remember he was solid in Gregg Williams' schemes, but everybody plays well in his defenses. I'd be down with signing him if Cromartie prices himself out. Hopefully Jets brass is looking at him, unless there's some flaw I'm not aware of.

Revis, Rogers, Wilson, Strickland. That ain't bad.

If it comes down to $$$ with Cro (and it appears that is his #1 concern) the raiders or 49ers will probably get him.

Agreed, all theis waiting and games by A$$hole and CRomarties agents has soured any wanting of them.....

Not worth the money or commitment they will ask...play wilson or sign someone else to compete

****Free agent CB Phillip Buchanon wrote on Twitter Saturday that he is talking to the Redskins, Jets and Cardinals.

If Cromartie doesn't sign by mid-night we really need to move on.... I'm almost so sick of his agent and shit I would take Lito back at a bargain basement price

I hope the Jets don't sign Buchanon. He's played Cover 2 his whole career.

    Why not Carlos Rogers (WAS)

Review – Rogers has been a solid press-man cover corner for years now and consequently should be in demand this offseason. Though his hands are downright bad, he doesn’t get the credit he deserves in limiting opposing receivers—a corner’s primary job. The Skins have come to peace with the idea of letting Rogers walk, which means any team that isn’t rich enough for the Scrabble sweepstakes will have a decent target of their own.

I dont like the thought of starting Wilson this year, but I say we bring in a vet CB this year have Wilson come in on the nickel and play the same role he did last year.

It's obvious they don't trust him and are going to GREAT lengths to keep him from starting.

That's completely untrue. Funny thing is, in Tampa a lot of people complained that he was much better in the instances when he was allowed to play press coverage.

Wouldn't mind, there doesn't appear to be a market for him.

Is that right? I figured Oakland ran Cover 2 when he was there. That is music to my ears. Still would rather have Rogers though.
