they like edwards. it's just dumb to give out 2 big contracts to WR's in one off-season. edwards is good, but he's not an elite WR. did you see the market next year? guys like fitzgerald, bowe, and colston are FA's. you can also get a top WR in the draft. it's probably the easiest position to project.

I think they like him.... But I also think they know in a year or two we can draft a solid #2 Wr and pay less over the same 4 years Edwards wants
I don't think they like him as much as they pulbicly say they do. They feel he overvalues himself as a player.

NFL network was just reporting the same thing. Tanny and Co. need to be real careful going against crazy Al. If the money gets too crazy, they need to walk away. Cro played very well last year, but I would not feel comfortable handing him a huge contract.
