    And it was Oakland but I agree it's not set in stone but the talent is much higher this year so I would think the cost will be higher.

    The chart is the baseline for negotiations, not the end product. With the quality of this draft it could possibly cost more than the baseline to trade up, especially in the 2nd/3rd.

    I would argue the opposite.

    With the depth of this draft, the cost to trade up could be LESS. With so many viable prospects, why not still get a guy you like AND an extra pick?

    Exactly right, he put himself and team in a corner with the CB situation. Hence, all the predictions how a Fuller, Dennard are the Jet's pick. If Idzik lets his ego get in the way of a valued player then he is right back with egg on his face. This might be what is going on.
