I'm hoping he's staying in town so they can get a deal done by tomorrow.

When we signed Eric Decker wasn't it a late night signing?

His agent could be working on a contract while he watches the game and then goes back to sign? No need to rush to conclusions.

This a process my friend not the conclusion. I am assuming Idzik wipes egg off his face and gets us a WR and CB ASAP like everyone expected him to do sooner vs later. And then there is acting decisively at some opportunities like CJ. Of course I am aware of all the teams other needs at CB etc. but you have to see I am not dissing our GM . In fact he is creating what the whole sports world sees as a legit contender . Contender for what Falco ? Ah duh the SB which we came close to in 09 '10. If I had to choose cautious snails pace versus Tanny overboard aqasitions then slow is better. Jet fans should try to believe we are closer to The Grail than we think right now with Decker , Vick and revamped offense

@MMehtaNYDN: Chris Johnson on his Jets visit today, per @PeterBotte: "Everything went well. It's a fine city," but "not ready to make my decision." #nyj. .......... Looks like we will be waiting a while longer

@RichCimini: Chris Johnson on Jets (via @IanBegley): Everything went well on visit, not ready to make decision, NY a "fun city." Has other visits. #nyj ........ Just my opinion but I thinks he's gone

Translation on the Chris Johnson tweets: They didn't offer me what I think I'm worth so I'm going to wait to see if somebody offers me more. Maybe he'll get a better offer. If so, well that's the breaks.

Sad story about the Knicks . But I hear Jackson will get Frazier Debusshiere Bradley. and Wilis Reed to make that comeback we have been waiting for. Love those guys and Jets since 1968.

If you aren't dissing him why do you say he needs to wipe the egg off his face? If you believe in his process don't you agree that he is doing well and not making mistakes? If he hasn't picked up another WR or CB yet it's because the correct player has not been available at the correct price. Personally I think Decker, Kerley, Hill, Nelson is fine for a WR corp going into the draft, and Milliner, Wilson, Patterson, Walls, and Lankster are a fine CB corp going into the draft. If Idzik was comfortable going into the 2013 draft with Cromartie and Wilson as the top two, I'm sure he is fine with going into the 2014 draft with Milliner and Wilson as the top two. People seem to forget that, but if Milliner had gone anywhere from 3-8 we wouldn't have drafted a CB with our first pick, and there's a good chance not in the first round at all. Cro and Wilson could easily have been our starting CB's in 2013.

idk why it can't be that he actually wants to explore his options. like damn, everyone is so negative here

he has other meetings set up, he wants to see what they offer and make up his mind. the only way he left the jets with a contract was if we overpaid. these things aren't that hard to figure out
