Would you give them a 6th or 7 for him?

    Really? lol

In the 6 years that MM was the offensive coordinator for Philly, McCoy rushed for 3,866 yards and 30 TD.

My point is it's a little absurd to call a 28 year old running back a grandpa, especially considering one of our best RBs was someone we signed when he was 29 and had a career year at 31. It doesn't matter how it happened... it happened.

You know how many times we were inside the opponents 10 on 1st down and we pass the ball like some fucking idiots?? All the time..

Due to how good shady McCoy is. Most eagles fans always complained how shady didnt get to run the ball enough. Dude can rack up 100 yrds in about 12-13 carries. Last year under chip was alot better but under Reid he wasn't getting enough touches

Idc. I'm looking at the statistics under his control.

Chris Johnson has a career 7,900+ yards and 50 TD's in one year more than McCoy has been in the league. McCoy has 5,400+ yards and 39 TD's.

Chris Johnson can be that Thomas Jones under MM.

Maybe because we don't have a RB that we trust can make it.

What was the percentage we ran when Thomas Jones was on the team, compared to last year? I am curious...

Chris Johnson has been in the league one more year than McCoy. Johnson has 7,965 yards and 50 TD'S and has never missed one game.

McCoy has 5,473 yards and 39 TD's and has missed a number of games.

I will take Chris Johnson any day.

You can't sit here and say you would take Chris Johnson over McCoy..

It will be more with Thomas because we were set in stone with a running back that can handle the load. Chris Ivory was splitting carries and battling a hurt hamstring last year.

That is not an accurate argument when one was the lead back and the other was splitting carries.

I am willing to bet that if CJ2K came here, he would not have more than 200 carries.

Why is that? Because you think he won't? What tells you he won't?

He has been the workhorse for his entire career in Tennessee and amassed almost 8,000 yards and 50 TD'S. What has Ivory done that warrants him to be the main guy?

Not because he doesn't have the talent to get that many carries but because our OC is a pass first coordinator.. Its as simple as that.. If CJ2K came here in the Sparano/Schotty days, then he would probably have 300 carries.

They see him in practice everyday. With the number of turnovers Smith had last year you would think they would run the ball there if they thought they had somebody who could, wouldn't you?

No I don't cuz MM is a "I don't give a shit if its 1st and Goal on the 1 yard line, we are going to throw this ball" kinda OC. Marty tries to get cute and fool people, but he ain't fooling shit. I like the passing mentality as that is what this league is transitioning to, but when you have a guy like Ivory who has that violent running style, the offense needs to be centered around him.

And stop talking about his injury as he played in 15 games this season.. Yea he probably wasn't 100% but name me a player that is 100% throughout the season.

You keep saying that but MM has shown what he does when he has a workhorse like Chris Johnson. I showed you already what McCoy did in Philly under MM. Why can't you understand that?

Did it ever occur to you that MM was pass first last year because he didn't feel he had a guy who could take the load every game?
