So do what you can then.. But don't just say I am not going to work out.. Look at my past achievements... Sounds like he has something to hide.
Haven't heard of 1 free agent working out for a team so why does he have to......dude still ran for 1k last yr and cam still bust the occasional huge play
Right. Also, since when do bigger name FA's work out for teams courting them? If it takes 3-4 visits are people expecting him to work out for every one?
Veterans don't normally work out for teams guys, they sometimes do but its not common for a former top player to work out for a team, normally its a mid level guy who works out for a team or a rookie .The fact that Chris Johnson won't work out isn't a big deal. You watcch his game film from last season to get an idea of where he is
Apparently the Jets have been looking at Chris Johnson for 48 pages of posts. This staring contest has to be uncomfortable by now.
The Jets are more worried about the draft, and were focusing on the LSU pro day where potential 1st round picks are preforming. They will deal with him when they are ready.
CJ on twitter: "Lmao idk where the media get there info from but none of the teams are asking me to workout."
Incarcerated Bob and Manish Mehta Manish Mehta and Incarcerated Bob Incarcerated Bob is Manish Mehta Bob is Mehta? Mehta is Bob! Bob is Mehta!
Diva alert !!!! Johnson doesn't want to work out for potential teams. He says "they know what I can do" don't know about this guy.
He just had surgery not too long ago and he doesn't want to pull or tear something in a workout for teams. Its understandable.
We don't need Johnson. He isn't going to change all that much about the team. Ivory is a good power back, Powel is a good backup and Goodson has the speed. We shouldn't be looking for #1 RBs, we just need backup depth in case Goodson doesn't fully heal and can't return to form or Ivory gets hurt.
I'm just so surprised how little interest it seems this guy is getting? I figured he'd be a pretty hot commodity.
Johnson is a cut above any of these guys, the Raiders paying DMF 4 mil is ........ Raiderish. 4-4.2mil would not kill us
28 year old RB past his prime. I'm not surprised at all. This is the kind of player who gets a 1 year deal somewhere for $2-3M. That's just how the market is. If he'd had a big year last year he'd draw better offers than that, however if he'd had a big year last year he wouldn't be on the market.
