Chris Johnson will only NOT be a Jet if Idzik cant get him to offer the contract Idzik will offer him. Not saying it'll be a lowball or am overpay. It'll be what Idzik thinks he's worth but other than that I believe he's a Jets.

 

If idzik can't get him to offer... the contract that... idzik will offer him.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a deal where his base salary would be about 4 million the first year and then 2 or 3 the next few years while more is made in bonuses like a sizable signing bonus or roster bonus based payouts. theres a way of getting this done to the liking of both parties.

I haven't been a huge fan of some of the things Idzik has done (or not done) this offseason but being pissed off that he hasn't signed a free agent after 3 hours is pretty hilarious.

If money were equal, CJ would be stupid to go to that division over ours. Who wants to smash into Tampa and Carolina's brick walls four games a year? The only run-D worth a damn in our division is us. He'd have a field day running over Wilpork and the rest of these hacks in the AFC East.

 

Wrong guy. I wouldn't say I am as adamantly against what he's done as that guy, mostly just not addressing CB position in free agency. Still early in the off season though.

 

Ivory/Johnson combo has a lot of potential and could be deadly. Ivory is a Beast and flew under the radarlast year. Johnson still has the speed to break out a long run just needs the blocks. Jets will be the most improved offense if they can make this happen paired with the decker signing and a receiver like lee/cooks, Ect. In the draft. We can see what Geno is made of with a year under his belt and actually having playmakers around him. Hopefully they draft 1-2 receivers in this deep class. Stop hating on the Jets everyone. Rex will ALWAYS field a top ten defense and more times then not a top 6 defense. His teams just have always lacked an offense. And you may not like it but this offense has improved already and will only get better. Marty knows how to run an offense and geno has the potential if not Vicks in(if he's not injured riding the bike during practices)
