Look Russell was good for LSU, I will admit he did in the NFL will completely outweigh his legacy at LSU, but as a Tiger fan I will still remember his success at LSU

Its interesting that Russell took over for Matt Flynn after Flynn got hurt, and while Russell had all the upside that Flynn lacked, now Flynn (who out played Brian Brohm) is the backup in Green Bay and Russell is an NFL bust

Yeah my Uncle is from there, went there and is obsessed with LSU, he married in btw. Lol

I'm sure the Raiders could ruin the best of anyone, so you never know what could happen.

I would be really displeased if he became a Jet. So much so that i would consider throwing away my "fanhood" for the team.

This has to be a joke.

Someone on Twitter said he was Also showing interest in NY, until he realized the big apple is not dipped in caramel.

What the fuck is that (besides Rosie O'Donnel's daily breakfast appetizer)

  7. First of all, I doubt this happens..secondly we're talking about one inquiry call to his agent. Tanny is all about reviewing every imagineable personnel scenario. We're talking about another potential "low risk/high reward" type situation. Russell would come in as a cheap back-up w/ basically his career on the line. He'd be in a more positive football setting in NY and would be able to learn the offense behind Sanchez. Russell still has a ton of upside...

This may be part of the elaborate plan to motivate Gholston. Just explain to him that we only have one roster spot for "top 10 busts of all time" and there will be open competition for it in Cortland.

he does still have a ton of potential

theres no question that he sucks now, but i will never write anyone who has to play for the raiders ... they managed to turn randy moss' value into a 4th rounder

I was talking about the use of the word ton.

I agree, put him on the right team with the proper coaches he could be a different player eventually. It's going to take a long time to wash the Raider off of him though-

A ton of potential... yes. At left tackle maybe.

Sometimes crappy players and crappy teams attract. Not everyone that goes to the Raiders is decent player that the organization turned bad.

Cimini is an asshole for posting this article. Fucking ESPN pussy. They probably made him write this nonsense.

What's so bad about a fat QB anyway?

Probably can take a hit better and that would be freakin hilarious to watch a fatass QB running. Not for the Jets of course.

the only reason why they sign him, is so he can be abused for hard knocks and then the jets cut his fatass
