Why is coles on borrowed time? Coles and Cotch are a fantastic duo, they were our offense last yr. WR is set completely.

Not set enough if given the opportunity to not draft Calvin Johnson

And you really have to wonder about the concussions with Coles at this point. Concussions kill careers and he's had a few in the last two seasons.

Even if he is fine with concussions, we'd still would be absolute fools for passing on Calvin Johnson if given the chance, the #1 thing we need on offense is a playmaker and he'd fit the bill perfectly

Johnson is exactly one thing we need on offense. I'd love to see it happen, but it won't.

I can just see him making those old Randy Moss plays. It would be amazing.

Trade for Randy Moss and give them Mccariens and a 3 pick. Chad wants it bad. We need to do something radical to catch the Pats. The Moss of 4 years ago, a rejuvinated Moss, makes are offense a top 5.

I think the last three or so years there has been "blockbuster trades" with the Lions "reportedly in the works." Give me a break, no body can honestly take this seriously.

Age and mileage RobA. You need to look beyond just next season. Coles has 2 good years tops left. Plus his attitude sucks. And if Coles gets injured, then where are we?

It's this brand of thinking that caused us to WASTE a high first-day pick - and our first pick in the draft - on a kicker.

If anything is going down with the Jets and Detroit, I see them taking Calvin Johnson at 2 and making a deal with us to move up from 34 to 25 to take Drew Stanton. Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson with an arm like Drew Stanton would be impressive.

I think the Jets should stay at 25. Trading up is tooooo costly and the player may be a bust. :jets:

You are off your rocker if you think Calvin Johnson would not make a huge impact on the Jets. He would easily make the Jets AFC East contenders.

Have you heard about Calvin Johnson? He supposedly has gotten the hightest grade going into the draft since JOHN ELWAY!!! This player has ZERO PERCENT CHANCE of being a bust.

Not really. We have so many glaring needs at DT, CB, OG, and OLB. WR is fine, and does not need to be addressed, atleast not this season. Is coles getting old? Yes, but he is good for a couple more seasons. Draft a WR next yr, or the yr after that.
