And all 3 of those teams you mentioned rely on their defense. The Jets dont have a defense that they can rely on like those teams you mentioned can.

Nobody is saying they lost to Denver because of it. I dont blame Coles and Cotchery for any losses this season or any struggles. There both good players and I like Stuckey a lot as a number 3 and Smith is a good gadget player who along with Wright contribute mightily on ST.

With that said though having a Tall true number 1 WR could only help us. He might not be a good example right now but look at what Plaxico did for the Giants offense last season. You have to double team him and that opens it up for the other guys around him like Toomer, Smith, Hixon, and Boss to make plays. And if you dont want to double him up well then watch the NFC Championship game against GB. It would be nice to have something like that.

Our WRs are fine. Our offense has been great recently except for the Denver game in the pouring rain! Do you not remember how we picked apart the Titans Defense? We had a bad game folks, relax. if it continues against SF, then we can worry. But we are not going to get a "true #1 WR" before the SF game so just sit back and enjoy. When was the last time the Jets were 8-4 at this point in the season?
