This F.O. is all about identifying and acquiring can't miss elite talent that will contribute from day 1 rather than sitting back, letting the players they like go elsewhere and "settling" for high risk players who also command a high salary. I wouldn't be surprised if Spiller is a guy they like. Assuming he stays healthy he's a can't miss big play RB...albeit on a part time player basis.
