I think RB is a big priority. The Jets keep using 3rd and 4th round picks on RB's (one in each of the last three drafts) and they haven't solved the problem yet. The answer is to go sign somebody who solves the problem.

The two big signings of the Parcells era were Curtis Martin and Kevin Mawae. The Jets signed Martin with Adrian Murrell already on the roster. Now the Jets already have Mangold. They need to find the back that the line will be opening holes for.

There is no reason to tie up big bucks at the RB position. You need depth at that position more than anything else. Greene and McKnight are good to start with and let's see what Powell can give this year. Connor should get a few more short yardage carries with quick hitters to help alleviate the workload. Drafting one in the mid to late rounds or bringing in another one via free agency is fine. You can find backs out of nowhere. Happens all the time.

Drafting Michael Floyd would help this offense tremendously. He is a versatile reciever. Speed, good hands, big body, can run after the catch. The Jets need some versatile personnel on offense. Keller is a decent reciever but lacks blocking skills. Mulligan on the field in blocking situations only. Can't catch or do much else for that matter. LT was fine as a reciever out of the backfield but was no threat from scrimmage. Plax was a one dimensional threat in the red zone but not much else. Greene is fine from scrimmage but is a poor reciever. Ducasse can run block but is otherwise lost. Being one dimensional makes it much easier on a defense. Floyd can help turn around that problem and open things up for everyone.
