It would be absolutely gut wrenching to root for this douche, but if he gets us to the promise land, I guess I'll have to deal with it...

It's amazing how even Jason Taylor wants to play here. Seems like everyone wants to come play for Rex.

like him or not he knows that team well and we might be able to learn some things also those numbers from last year don't lie. This is Tanny signing someone in a need position so come draft day we can get BPA.

There's a lot we disagree on but this post is my thoughts exactly, bringing him in is an instant upgrade to the passrush plus he practices against that pussycat bs everyday so he has inside knowledge. I'm sure Dolphag fans hated the signing on Pennington but they got a division title and a playoff appearance out of it.

How could the FO justify this? This is a horrible, horrible, horrible decesion. Even if we were to sign this guy, and then win the super bowl with this guy, It would really take away from the win. IMO.

It would feel tainted to me.

    Kinda like...

You are in a serious realtionship with someone, everything is great, but then they cheat on you. Once that happens, everything is just tainted, and it just doesn't feel the same. This is how I would feel about this. haha

Maybe I'm overreacting, but this seems to be the worst idea ever. Seriously... Just draft someone, fuck, Jason "Fag-Hat" Taylor.

he isnt a all star player but he is solid and needed for depth

taylor is old at 36 and we need protection against a possible injury

sorry man, i never thought i would be defending anything having to do with jason taylor but i get why they would be doing this even if it is gonna cause a suicide attempt or two.

If you look at the title, it says "by the end of the day". There was nothing in the original article that said anything about him signing by the end of the day.

the only thing worse than this would be signing Dan Marino

As much as I hate JT and do not want him on this team, he could bring that extra pass rush we need when we play teams like the Pats.

Bullshit... I've suffered through 2 AFC Championship games in which we led at teh half only to lose. Nothing outside of the other team dying in the locker room before the game coudl taint a Jets SB win....oh and taping the other teams signals.

i understand the reasoning.....and our pass rush could certainly use an upgrade. But Jason Taylor?!!

c'mon.......the Jets FO could go in other directions.

Maybe it's just the "fan" in me .....but i just can't fathom seeing this shmuck in a Jets jersey.

For the love of God, don't say that. Remember how that one ended for the Mets???

Lets have more positive thoughts.. maybe this is like Johnny Damon going from Boston to the Yankees and winning the World Series! Let's go with that.

It's funny how quickly things change.. He figured he'd always be super in demand and never have to consider going to the Jets. Now the Jets are the best team going after him and probably offering the most, as the Dolphins have shown very little interest.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him want to come here. Don't forget, he has his eyes on a post football entertainment career. And where better to go and get himself in the spotlight than in New York.. under Rex Ryan.. for a contending team.. that will be on Hard Knocks for a full month.. where the coach/management let players say what they want.. it's really an ideal situation for him.

i understand him wanting to play for a contender

and he has expressed interest in playing for the ravens before because of there defense so rex ryan being here explains that but why is he gonna settle for such low money

im no expert but id think the dolphins would pay him a million bucks to come back
