Ha this thought would help take the sting out of the signing a little bit. Honestly, it would take some pretty good performances from Taylor for me to get over my hate, but it's certainly doable. A few big sacks, tackles, or turnovers for the Jets and I'll start getting used to the idea.
there are players in this league....that i don't really care for...but i would still support if they signed on with the Jets. Jason Taylor isn't one of those guys......
That stuff doesn't really bother me, I like it actually. It shows me he kind of gets the rivalry thing and his is just tweaking us. It's fun making fun of him and seeing him make fun of us. I hate the guy on the field but I like that he gets the rivalry.

give it time and you will get over it if this actually happens. you don't need to like the guy as a person to know that he would actually help the pass rush this coming year. i have hated the guy for years and have called him some pretty creative names throughout the years but if he helps get the jets to a superbowl i can live with it.

there are better options......like drafting a pass rusher. Ugh...i can't envision Taylor in the Green/White..it's wrong on so many levels....what if he tries to touch Revis in the shower?!!.....
i agree that this is certainly not ideal but i'll be able to sleep at night if this happens. i certainly won't be seeking out any of his interviews or anything but if i see him in a green jersey on sundays sacking a quarterback i will still cheer.

The only way that becomes hilarious is- A. WE cut him right before the SB or B. We don't sign him, we win the SB and the Jets lineup 1 by 1 and punch him in the face with their rings.
