no where in that article does it say he wants to play defensive end. it just says he doesnt want to play nose tackle. he says this because he is a 4-3 tackle...not a 3-4tackle. besides that the contract is entirely way to high

This is embarrassing. It's not as if this guy is hated simply because he's a rival- he essentially called Jets fans white trash. Big words coming from a guy whose state is populated with toothless drifters and other social detritus, who join with nearly everyone in generally ignoring the Dolphins. Whatever you think of Fireman Ed, the guy reportedly sought him out to hurl obscenities at him. Beyond that he's just not that good anymore. Again multplie sources there was a story in the post stating he would be open to playing a 3/4 end but not tackle. I agree his contract is freaking nuts but he is a younger better player then Taylor This is the part I find funny people spew crap here without backing up I post links and these other idiots don't get questioned. but the link you posted had nothing to do with the argument of him saying hed be a defensive end. and i dont think haynesworth is all that great. he takes a lot of plays off.....and only really had two good seasons in his enite career. his best being before his contract year
That's a pretty good point. Jets fans were defending Rex for giving Dolphins fans the finger at a MMA event, a single event. Taylor got heckled mercilessly (twice a year) for most of his career and did pretty much what Rex did, only in interviews. He played the heel. Not really going to defend Taylor for anything he said, but there is a certain amount of hypocrisy for anyone willing to defend Rex for doing pretty much the same thing that Taylor has done for years.
