As much as I hate this guy and can't see myself rooting for him, I try to picture Gholston sitting on the bench to help ease the pain.

At the very least, I'm not wearing any Jets gear until he is gone. I'll swear by that. I'll still watch the games and all, but I will not be happy.

Taylor has been a douche to us over the years, no doubt. However, he seems like the kind of personality and player Rex likes to have on the team. I still don't agree with it, though.*

*Unless he sacks the shit out of Brady.

If they do sign him, one way I might be happy about it if he has a giant game against the Dolphins next season. Imagining Dolphin fans trying to deal with Jason Taylor taking out Chad Henne actually makes me feel pretty good. If both fanbases are going to suffer from it, I'd rather be on the side that gets the player.

Odd Neck Stems hit it on the head. It sucks for us as Jets fans. But it would be a complete mind fuck for Dolphins fans which would be a good reason to welcome Him with open arms.

That said. Does this guy have anything left????

Would he be a DE or an OLB for us?

  9. OLB no doubt. Perhaps in some unique 3rd down 4 man front pass rush packages as a down linemen. But primarily OLB.

I'm getting more and more used to the idea by some of your guys posts. We all hate the guy naturally. But like someone said before it just makes TOO much sense to not sign the guy to a 1 yr deal.

Seriously, if this helps, who cares?! We want a Superbowl, not a friend. I understand if you think he's over the hill etc. However, who cares what he said in the past? Stop being women.

Now that I've had time to digest this and settle down a little from my initial disgust, it does make a lot of sense for this team.

As many posters have been saying, this gives us a much needed boost to our pass rush as well as helping open things up during the draft. For everyone in the "trade down" during the draft camp, this will make that much more possible. The FO won't feel compelled to go get the best pass rusher available... although I wouldn't let JT stop us from getting some like Kindle if he falls to 29.

I'm warming up to this surprisingly quick when I try to look at it objectively.

Taylor has a been a cry baby bitch every time he lost to the jets. It would really really piss of the dolphins fans and I like that.
