Why grab another reciever? Not having Holmes for the first 4 weeks isn't going to be devastating, Our offense had good games with Braylon, Cotch, Smith and Clown last season. We also have Keller and LT....so why waste the money? Makes no sense.
Most people here can't even spell Pool correctly, you expect us to have to talk about someone named Houshmandzadeh?
No fucking way... the only player jets will add is a servicable CB aka fuck you Revis you are out this year.
Cotch needs to catch at least 10 TD passes so he can be recognised. He is one of the most underrated WRs in the league.
I really don't think we need another receiver right now. And even when Holmes gets back, if Sanchez doesn't take a step forward the way we all hope he will, we will be running the ball just as much as last year.
I'm fine with the trio of Braylon Edwards, Jerricho Cotchery and Dustin Keller during our first 4 games against the Ravens, Patriots, Dolphins and Bills. We don't need a WR such as Coles or even Houshmanzadeh. We just need players such as L.T, Brad Smith or David Clowney to run routes and come up big for Sanchez and the Jets until #10 returns. During those games, I expect the Jets to play a tough defense, ground and pound the football, while keeping opposing D's off balance due to a passing attack that can mix it up a whole lot more than last season. I'm really looking forward to our coaching staff allowing Shonn Greeene to take over games during our first 4 weeks of the season. Any type of offensive production out of either L.T, Brad Smith or David Clowney will become an added bonus out of the slot position. Come week 5 against the Vikings, the league better take note, and thats because the Jets could be flying high once Santonio Holmes returns to an already talented offense. Holmes is returning just in time, because in my eyes, we'll be playing our two toughest D's of the season two out of three games in Minny and Green Bay.
Housh was at his best as a #2 to Ochocinco. If Tate's been playing well in camp Jackson-Housh-Tate would be a good WR trio
I could picture a team such as the Patriots going after TJ. Hope it doesn't happen, but I could picture it. A trio of Moss, TJ and Welker wouldn't have the whole youth factor on their side, but with Brady under center, it could become a dangerious trio of WR's for Brady to work with. Darrelle Revis vs Randy Moss. Antonio Cromartie vs TJ Houshmanzadeh. Kyler Wilson vs Wes Welker. Would become fun matchups to watch.
someone just needs to remind sanchez that it's ok to throw to keller. sanchez is at his best when keller has a good game. it's almost like he forgets about him at times.
it would make no sense for us to sign him. i think that report is bullshit. it hold as much water as the report revis was going to report last week
