LOL it would be fun if you could sue for intellectual property theft in this place. of course there isn't that many intellectuals like us around here.

As far as Clowns, I haven't liked them since Killer Klowns From Outer Space...lol

A creepy fact about clowns...... MB Green dresses up as John Wayne Gacy every Halloween.

I'm skeptical of this signing....very skeptical.

Pool plays fragile........but we'll see what happens. Atogwe would've been the more logical choice, IMO.

BTW, I am not against the signing. I am just wary. It is difficult to get excited and put your trust behind a player with concussion syndrome. I truly hope it works out for Poole and the Jets.

I still thik the Jets go Safety at some point in this draft. Again the signing is cheap and worth the risk.

I like this signing.. Cheap, 1 year commitment, big upside.

I doubt he's going to just be the "new" Kerry Rhodes and take over his role 100%.. I'm sure Tanny has something else in the works, either in the draft or a veteran to make it a by committee approach.

Now with Cromartie and Pool in the fold, we can draft the best available talent. I love this front office.

I agree about Atogwe, but I'm also starting to wonder why it doesn't seem any teams are really looking hard at him.

Pool is also significantly cheaper and can help with a drafted safety's coverage skills.

Well..let me put it to you this way.....if people on this board believe S.Greene is considered injury prone...they're gonna LOVE Brodney Pool.

He suffered severe post-concussion syndrome last season...and some believed he was done. He's had 4 concussions over his career.

Hence why I said it seems to indicate we want to draft a safety. I seriously doubt anyone considers Pool a long term solution.

Same here, I haven't seen Pool play very much but it's obvious he has some talent but it would still be a good idea to draft someone with his injury history.

Looks to be nothing more than an insurance policy. My bet is that Tanny has 100% intentions on drafting a S, and Pool is either cut by opening day, or rides the bench for the length of his 1-year deal.

I think B.Pool has more concussions than Super Dave Osborne.

Ive been trying to look up Atogwe news quite a bit, the only thing i keep finding is that teams know the Rams REALLY REALLY want him back, and would likely match anything that makes him cost effective.

I guess teams dont really want to use the poison pill since it makes their organization looks bad.

thats the only thing I can come up with

This is tanny crossing his fingers and, hoping he can have a veteran play at the safety position, while the rookie Safety we draft gets to watch and learn for one year..

Good move. We get ride of Rhodes contract and since T-Rex like rotating Safeties, why invest so much money in one?
    Leonhard
    Ihedigbo
    Pool
    Smith
    will do

As long as he stays on the field he cant be any worse then Kerry, we all know that.

We'll draft someone, Tanny is not done here.

100% agree. Tanny is the best GM we've ever had.

Hopefully he can keep his dome piece off of the turf and away from other players' dome pieces.

the big difference between pool and rhodes is that rhodes could play 10 nfl careers and never suffer a single concusion
