This isn’t over. Not even close. Jamal doesn’t want to be here. We will be hearing about this all the way up the the draft. He will ultimately be dealt. Both sides clearly want to move on, it just was for the right price today but soon it will.
Bingo. Hopefully they get a better trade offer in the off-season, because if they don't, keeping him may have been a mistake
I don’t know why people are using that Jamal is tired of losing as a negative against him. I want 52 other guys that are tired of losing. We probably wouldn’t be losing as much if we did.
Jamal liked this comment from Louis Riddick on twitter "Jets giving up on this season too now and selling off assets? Figures. Embarrassing. Think about the timeline of events that have lead to this happening. Can understand why players would want to leave, and feel for those that have to endure the rest of the season" IMO, Jets are going to have to part ways with Jamal before the 2020 draft. He clearly believes that somehow Jets getting rid of L. Williams was somehow a ridiculous move, when L. Williams has not performed up to his draft selection, or his salary.
that is all based on nothing but rumors and 1 BS not legit twitter account saying it lol Jamaal has given 0 indication he doesn't want to be here
If you read his last comments on Twitter, you will see he is EXACTLY that kind of person. He wants out of here. Doesnt want to play for the HC and GM.
First Osemele and now this. Is Douglas trying to break Gase's record for shortest time on the job before I turn on him?
well according to report we didn't actually shop him or bell. only listened to offers. seems we were only shopping leo. even robby wasn't being shopped from all the reports i read
I dont think Adams is in the wrong here by the way. He is an excellent player and a true competitor. He gave the Jets a full offseason to become a contender and has been a strong vocal leader. He isnt a malcontent. He wants to win but the Jets are a waste of his time.
I don't blame Adams for any of this. He's a very good player, and I hope he gets to win, whether it's here or elsewhere.
IMO this doesn't prove anything. He's a proud player and not used to losing. He's tired of losing. He's venting. He isn't being smart, professional or mature, but he's still a young man. IMO some of you guys are too cynical and try too hard to read stuff into comments that people make in frustration. He probably feared that the Jets were going to trade Bell, Anderson and others and would have no hope of winning the rest of the year. He sounds like he needs to grow up and shut up. I still don't see any proof that he doesn't want to be here.
Adams is a loudmouth. Jets had to listen to offers. Turned down substantial offer for him. If they didn't value him, they would have traded him. Time to grow up and be a pro rather than a whiny bitch with his twitter drama.
