We lost ground this weekend! To the Titans, Niners, Texans and Raiders for the right for the number one pick to get Adrian Peterson in Next years Draft! A 4:15 reality check is coming for the Jets this weekend.
I want the Jets to win a superbowl and for them to do that they need to get a running game and some other pieces. If we get that this year via the draft we can legitimate chance to win next year. Realistically we have a good coach and a weak schedule so we could overachieve and finish at 7-9 or 8-8. But from a winning point of view 4-12 with a number 1-3 pick is better than 8-8 this year.
God, that's a lame post at this point of the season! Here's my thinking. The next two things I'm thinking about regarding the Jets are winning the coin toss and Miller breaking one on the return. The home opener is upon us, the Jets are 1-0, and you're talking about losing so we can get a good pick in the 07 draft.
I'm a Jets fan!! I was just saying how the schedule works. It is much much to early to be worried about draft picks. I just want to stomp the shit out of NE this weekend. No RB drafted early ever won the superbowl, so I would rather we got it going with the guys we have.
We played Tennesee on Sunday. One of the four or Five teams that would let us escape with the win. Im happy we played to win with the coach going for a T/d instead of a Field goal and the team was prepared. I have no delusions about a Sb.
