Aside from the OP, I count 1 person in this thread even allowing for the possibility of less than 9 wins, and he is doing it with the notion of positivity. Most people in this thread are laughing at the idea of predictions at this point in the offseason. I fail to see where 'everyone is down' on the Jets' chances in 2012.
Oh yeah, Nostradamus? What makes you so sure? What are the lottery numbers for tonight? Your guess is as good as anybody's at this point. The only guys who really have any idea at this point are Tannenbaum and Woody, and obviously they're saying squat to the media until Peyton is officially up for grabs.
11-5 or 12-4 if all holes are filled. Braylon Goldson Melvin Ingram(draft) Mohamed Sanu (draft) Add a veteran RT 11-12 WINS EASY
I saaaaay: 7? Even bigger and more relevant question.....how many poops will I take at Foxwoods tomorrow night? I always take at least one but since I had buf chix for dinner and drank 6 beers I think there is a good chance we are in the 2-3 range. We'll have to see what other moves I make before gambling starts.
19-0 is always my prediction. Realistically, too early to even try and guess. The roster is going change so much before training camp even starts. Missing the playoffs will be a disappointment.
This depends on a lot of things. Like who is signed in the off-season and if Mark progresses. If the right players are signed and drafted and Mark can progress after last seasons regression then I can see 11-12 wins. the schedule isn't super tough.
To get a healthy fully functional Manning would be an amazing thing , but at what cost. Manning would basically end any free agent signings and we would have to fill holes with either journeyman-no talents or bank on a young players from the draft. Building this franchise is much more important then Just throwing a ton of money at an unknown quantity for the sake of a trophy that Peyton himself has not been able to get back to for a couple of years now. Too soon to tell , but I'll go woth 11 wins.
