6-7 wins ............and behind Bills/Fins in the AFCE basement.
i see this year as "the collapse" of all the terrible decisions of past 2 years...its gonna be a mess i think

How are we supposed to predict this when we don't know who'll be on the team? Making predictions now is stupid.

Based on the moves we have seen so far I'll go 5 to 8 wins. Obviously that can get a lot better if some of the holes are addressed or it can turn into an utter rout if somebody like Mangold or Harris goes down early on.

I thought this was a fucking fan board? 12 wins+ Jets to the superbowl baby!

But really though, I'm expecting something like 10-6 with a wildcard spot. Who knows whats gonna happen in the playoffs though.

They're stupid enough right before the season begins, to make them before FA and the draft is simply idiotic.

You guys are nuts, even if we don't improve the roster this team would win 8-10 games barring disastrous injuries.

Let's wait until the draft and FA though.

I think the Jets will be in the playoffs again. I dont see us getting any worse than last season.

The schedule is certainly favorable for at least 10 wins, the Jets have talent they just need to add pieces...NFC West, AFC South and four games against the Bills and Dolphins. I don't understand the '5 wins' prediction. They haven't even started free agency or had a draft yet.......

Is it too early to nominate this for thread of the year?

Jets fans are whiners. It's just a fact.

BTW, how can we make predictions when the new league year and transactions don't start till 3/13?

agreed. I think we will address several needs very shortly. I expect Sanchez to be better then last season.

Why stop here? Let's predict what our record will be all the way through 2014. And let's also predict how many tweets Antonio Cromartie will make during that same period.

Considering we have made approximately 3 moves (firing schottenheimer and retaining hunter and holmes) its kinda hard to determine how good we are going to be next fall.

    10-11

I don't understand why everyone is being so down. If I had to look back at recent times of this team I'd say they were good. Overall, this team is moving in the right direction. I expect them to bounce back to an extent this year, and get 10-11 wins. No way in hell they are finishing behind Miami or Buffalo.

Firing Schotty alone will yield at least 2 extra wins.

If we get Peyton, we're at least 12-4.

At least 24 not including pre and postseason...including that we're looking at 40+
